SPACEENTER
start / restart a solo run
On phones: tap the left or right half of the screen to steer, and use
the on-screen HORN and NITRO buttons.
How does the horn work?
One press makes traffic ahead of you pull aside so you can slip through.
Not every driver yields — some are stubborn and hold their lane. Don't count on it.
Spamming does nothing extra; the horn sound is gated to about one honk per second.
In timed races the honk is relayed to everyone, so the same cars dodge on every screen.
How do I charge and use nitro?
The meter charges from near misses — the closer you skim traffic, the faster it fills.
You need at least a 35% charge before it will fire.
It gives about +45% speed, and a fuller meter burns longer (roughly 1.6–3.8 seconds).
Firing empties the meter, and bursts don't stack — pressing again mid-burn does nothing.
Nitro or horn isn't responding
Both only work while you are actually driving a run — not on menus, replays or
spectator views.
Keys are ignored while you are typing in a text field. Click the game area first.
Nitro silently refuses below a 35% meter and while a burst is already running.
CHALLENGES
How does a paid challenge work?
Create: you set a prize, an entry fee and a duration, then drive the score everyone
has to beat. Your prize is locked in escrow the moment the challenge is created.
Attempt: every try costs the entry fee, paid before the run starts.
Win: the first verified score above the creator's wins — and only the
first. The challenge closes at once and the winner receives both the prize and their
own winning entry back (platform fee off each).
Fail: the entry goes to the creator, fee off the top. The prize stays locked and
the challenge stays open for the next challenger.
Expire: if nobody beats the score in time, the prize returns to the creator, fee
off that too. Expiry is a resolution, not a cancellation — nothing gets stuck.

Attempt window
30 minutes from payment to finishing your run
If you pay for an attempt and then close the browser, that attempt settles
after 30 minutes exactly like a failed run — you bought a slot to race in and didn't use
it. Reloading inside the window keeps your attempt alive.
How do I join a challenge? I can't find a list
There is no public browse feed yet — you join with an exact link or code
(JOIN CHALLENGE on the multiplayer screen).
INVITE ONLY challenges also need the invite token that is part of the creator's link,
so share the full link, not just the code.
Everyone races the same seeded map and the same traffic, so the scores are comparable.
Someone beat my score β what happens to my prize?
The challenge closes the moment a verified score passes yours, and the prize goes to that
winner (platform fee off it).
You keep everything already released to you from earlier failed attempts.
Only the first qualifying score counts, so a later, even higher score wins nothing.
PAYMENTS & FEES
What is the platform fee?
The fee is 10% by default. It is frozen into the challenge at creation, so a later
change can never alter a challenge already running.
It is charged on every failed attempt, on the winning attempt, and on the prize however
it ends.
It is never charged just for creating a challenge — creating only locks money,
it doesn't resolve any.
Where does my money sit while a challenge is running?
Each challenge has two separate escrow accounts: one holding the creator's prize,
one holding attempt entries.
They are kept apart on purpose — "is the prize still locked?" and "is any entry
unreleased?" can always be answered independently for your challenge.
Amounts are handled as whole base units (lamports), never decimals, so no rounding dust
can appear or vanish. Every split adds back to exactly what you paid.
I was charged twice / I clicked pay twice
Every payment and payout is recorded under its own key and applied once and only once,
so a retry or a double click cannot move the money twice.
A duplicate that did land is detected and released back to you rather than kept.
If your balance still looks wrong after a few minutes, note the transaction ID from your
history and report it — the log traces where every unit went.
My deposit or balance hasn't updated
Balances update only once the transfer is confirmed on-chain, not when it is sent.
Don't send a second time — unconfirmed transfers are re-checked automatically about
once a minute.
See STUCK / REFUNDS for the timings once something takes longer than that.
STUCK PAYMENTS & REFUNDS
My payment or withdrawal is stuck β what do I do?
Short version: don't re-send it. Stuck transfers are picked up
automatically, and nothing is lost while one is being resolved.
A duplicate makes reconciliation slower, not faster.
Keep the transaction or challenge ID from your history — that's all that is needed
to trace it.
How long does a stuck transfer take to resolve?
Every ~1 min
a background pass re-checks every unresolved transfer
After ~90 sec
a transfer whose request died mid-flight is flagged and inspected
Typically
resolved within a few minutes, once the chain gives a definite answer
After ~20 min
if there is still no definite answer it is escalated for manual review
When exactly is a refund issued?
Only on proof that the funds never left our wallet — the transaction landed
with an error, or it can no longer be included on-chain at all.
Never on a timeout alone. A slow network or a dropped connection says nothing about
what happened on-chain; refunding on that basis would pay some people twice and drain the
pot everyone else is owed from.
That is why a stuck transfer can take a few minutes: we wait for a definite answer instead
of guessing.
What if it can't be resolved automatically?
Cases that cannot be proven either way are parked and handed to a human rather than
auto-refunded. Your funds stay accounted for the whole time — parked is a safe resting
state, silently refunded is not.
Do not retry the withdrawal while it is parked.
Manual review is a person checking the chain, so allow for a longer wait than the
automatic path.
I paid for an attempt but never raced β is my money stuck?
No. It settles automatically 30 minutes after payment, treated as a failed run.
If a challenge ends with nobody winning, the prize returns to the creator automatically.
There is no claim step.
No help topic matches that.
